Dr. Leo and Dr. Courtney

Dr. Leo is a master chiropractor, having been in practice for 18+ years here in San Diego.  After he graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 1999, he went on to pursue a deeper knowledge of the neurology behind a chiropractic adjustment. He spent the next six years studying functional neurology and graduated from the Carrick Institute in 2005 with the ability to diagnose and treat complex neurological cases through chiropractic care.  He has a phenomenal talent for extremity issues such as pain or numbness in hands, feet, knees, elbows, shoulder, and ribcage ailments as well.  Because of his extensive post graduate training he is an expert in helping people recover from vertigo, car accidents and whiplash injuries, concussion, and also bizarre symptoms that other doctors have been unable to help or diagnose.  Dr. Leo has a huge heart and loves helping people.  Whether you have a simple problem that has lead you to seek healing, or a complex problem that feels insurmountable, you can trust that we have got your back.

***Dr. Leo currently works out of two offices in San Diego: Olive Branch Chiropractic in Ocean Beach, and True Chiropractic in Kearny Mesa.

Dr. Courtney grew up in SoCal and has long been in love with waves and surfing. She attended the University of Southern California, receiving her bachelors degree in International Relations and traveling the world to learn about other cultures.  After all that, she still landed back in beautiful sunny San Diego and spent the next few years teaching surfing, just for the joy of it.  This journey led her to Florida where she was running a surf camp for the summer and that's when everything changed.  One morning she got up to check the surf and as she crossed the street to reach the shore she was blindsided by a truck and hit at 35mph.  She suffered several fractures and substantial soft tissue injuries over most of her body. The medical doctors gave her a 12 week recovery timeline and when 12 weeks arrived she was still in so much pain, so she searched for answers and found chiropractic.  After the very first adjustment, she knew for the first time that she was going to get better.  It was a long recovery, but she started back to school as quickly as possible to fulfill all the prerequisites for chiropractic college.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West and now runs a family practice in Ocean Beach.
